•    Based on your registration you will receive the contracts and other documents, which will need to be filled out and sent back to us.

•    The contracts signed by mother/parents will be signed by the head of the organization and returned to you.

•    In the course of your pregnancy you should be tested for hepatitis B and C, HIV and syphilis. These tests are a standard part of health care during a pregnancy. The results of these tests will be recorded in cord blood collection documentation.

•    After arriving at the maternity hospital inform your obstetrician or midwife that you have a planned cord blood collection. The material needed for collection is supplied to hospitals in advance and in sufficient quantity.

•    After cord blood collection qualified couriers will transport cord blood to our processing facility. Some quality tests are performed in the supply laboratory, which takes around 3 to 4 weeks. After this time we send you Cord Blood Processing Results along with the invoice for our services.

•    Cord blood is stored in storage area which fulfils strict criteria for storing of biological material.
